- A Bachelors degree or high in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or Child Development or a related field or
- BA or higher in a related field that includes 18 Credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education that includes 18 semesters hours of courses directly related to young children birth to age 8. or
- At least 1 year of experience working with children ages 6wks-6yrs of age and
- Has completed or is currently taking ECE 101 and ECE 103 or 111 or level two trainings on PDIS
